About StorySprout
Where your child becomes the story. We started StorySprout because the fastest way to get a kid to sit still with a book is to put them in it — with their pet, their favorite color and the thing they've been talking about for three straight weeks.
Most personalized books ask you to upload a photo, pick from three plots, and then wait ten days for shipping. We wanted the opposite: no photos, a story shaped by real details, and a file you can print before bedtime.
We also wanted it to be honest. Personalized products for children are an easy place to overpromise, so anything we haven't finished is marked as coming soon rather than sold as done.
How it's built
Four separate layers, so one profile can power many products:
1. Child profile
Name, age, pronouns, interests and an illustrated character. Owned by the parent, reusable forever.
2. Content generator
Takes the profile plus a theme and learning goal, and produces a title, pages and activity list.
3. Product template
Decides what that content becomes: a 15-page activity book, a 22-page story, or a bundle.
4. Delivery
PDF today, read-along audio and printed hardcover next. Same story, different outputs.
